How soon do I need to book my wedding flowers?
As soon as possible is the short answer. After you have chosen your dress and the bridesmaid’s dresses is the best time as you will then have a colour scheme for us to go by, unless you have a clear and definite idea of what you want already. Also we will only book a certain amount of weddings for any one day, so it’s best to book as soon as possible after the consultation.
Why do I need a consultation?
We like to have a face to face meeting with you which enables us to gather an image of your personality and tastes. You can show us your colour scheme and any designs or themes you may have already seen. Our website doesn’t display everything we have done so you are also able to look through our photo albums. After a detailed discussion then we will email you the quote.
Do you deliver the flowers on the day?
Yes we will deliver the flowers at a predetermined time, the bouquets to the bride and the buttonholes to the groom. Any arrangements for the ceremony and the reception will be delivered and set up where required. The quote will include any delivery and set up fees.
Why are the prices higher than just purchasing everyday flowers?
It actually involves a lot of time spent consulting with the bride and our flower suppliers to source the perfect choice of flowers for the special day. A lot of flowers chosen specifically for weddings, such as exotic orchids or perfect roses are more expensive than just a bunch of flowers. It also depends on seasonal availability. A lot more care and preparation is involved to create the ultimate in perfection.
Do you offer packages?
We don’t offer packages, as each wedding is individually styled to suit each bride.
We prefer an appointment to be made so that we can allow enough time to spend with you. We offer you a free, no obligation consultation where we spend usually ½ - 1 hour discussing your design theme, your ideas and your preferences. Bring along any pictures, colour swatches and ideas you have and we will guide you through the best available choices for colours and seasons. We will then email you a quotation for your consideration. The quote will be valid for 1 month. We require a 30% deposit to secure the booking with full payment due at least 1 week prior to the wedding.
