Happy International Women's Day! How lucky we are in our little space to have curated such an inclusive and diverse workplace for women to create, connect and glow each other the f@$k up. With a shop full of beautiful blooms and gifting, lots of laughs and a fancy bottle of Champagne sitting pretty in the cool room with our names on it. Bel and Sammie, we were a team that started at the beginning of the Covid Great Pause nightmare and a team that stuck it out, worked unpaid hours, laughed, cried and supported each other and JUST kept our heads above the water and survived it. This was our biggest week as a relatively new and small team in a little space and we smashed it. I've never felt so much pride in the women around me. We did it! Unfortunately due to extreme weather/damage in the Mount Dandenongs and surrounds we will be unable to make deliveries in this area today. This is based off advice from our local SES to stay off the roads as it is unsafe. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and hope everyone is okay. It's happening! We can FINALLY open our doors! The Little Flower Shoppe will be open to the public from this Wednesday the 3rd of November! We will still be available for orders all week but closed Sunday 31st, Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd, so that we can have a little rest over the long weekend before the big day! The shop will be looking brand spanking new, and we've got some special treats and surprises to celebrate such a long awaited and exciting time for us 🍾 Now, we do need to address the matter of vaccination status. Our staff are all fully vaccinated and happy to provide our own certificates on request, as we will be requesting yours. Under public health guidelines we MUST have all customers check in and show a valid double dose vaccination before entering the shop and under current guidelines, will still have density limitations until November 24th. We respect everyone's right to choice and will serve all our customers regardless of vaccination status however we hope that you can respect that after all the hardships we have faced we must adhere to the public health guidelines and will only be able to serve single dose or unvaccinated customers outdoors unless a medical exemption applies. We are inclusive, respectful and accepting of ALL of our customers and will not refuse service, just adjust to a new way of providing it. This is new for us too so please be kind and understanding, just as we will be to you. We are so excited to have you back. To share our new vendors and gifting range with you and get back to some semblance of normality. It's been a long hard road and we're so grateful we made it through. Under current guidelines we will be operating in the same capacity of contactless delivery/click and collect making beautiful blooms for you all. Until advised otherwise. We have also touched base (🤞) with all our couples who are planning, enquiring and finally able to soon get married! If you have not received any contact from us this is an oversight (we had a LOT to get through) and please contact us again so we can touch base with you. Patience would be much appreciated. We are fully booked for some months in 2022 and will endeavour to let you know what our availability looks like as soon as possible.
